About Me

I'm Daniel, a GIS analyst from Richmond, VA. For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated with maps - I would always have an atlas in my hands during family road trips as a child. I would even draw maps of imaginary places. Since then I have managed to turn that fascination into a career, working with GIS since I finished studying geography at ODU in 2010.

I am interested in cartography, programming, playing guitar, and basically any other creative task. Take a look at my portfolio for samples of my work. Every now and then I'll post about my latest mapping endeavors in my blog.
